Dr Tristan Croll
University of Cambridge, United Kingdom
Tristan Croll currently works at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research, University of Cambridge. His primary research focus is on methods to improve the speed and quality with which models can be built into experimental crystallographic or cryo-EM maps - particularly at lower resolutions where current methods struggle. This is achieved in his package ISOLDE via the application of interactive molecular dynamics flexible fitting combined with innovative visualisation methods - in particular, real-time validation and visualisation of common stereochemical problems.
