Young Investigator Awards
Besides the normal student poster prizes, from one to four Lorne Proteins Young Investigator Awards will be presented at each conference. Awardees will receive a $500 prize and have the opportunity to make an oral presentation at the conference.
To be eligible, the applicant must have been awarded his or her PhD no earlier than five years ago (i.e. not before 2008). Exceptions to this, where there have been career breaks for family responsibilities, will be considered by the committee.
In addition to submitting an abstract, applicants must provide a one page CV summary of their track record in pdf format and email this to Jackie Wilce with “cc” to Danielle White by: TO BE CONFIRMED.
